On the Road Again

Despite my best intentions, I've been too busy to blog.

The news is full of things to riff about, but I don't feel like going there.

I saw my baby off to Europe the other day, and now she's 1/2 way around the world, hopefully having a blast.

My sister is ill and I'm worried about her.

I'm sitting in a cafe that has free WiFi, because I'm on the road.  Gas prices in Paso Robles, CA were enough to get me started once again about corporate gouging, but I'm not going there, either.

And whenever I felt like writing I thought I should apply it to other work instead of ranting into cyberspace.

As always, I find it hard to stay away.
